Creating work attributes

Required Tempo product: Tempo Timesheets for Cloud

Required permission: Tempo Administrator

You can add attributes to any worklog dialog. Some examples of work attributes are: Overtime, Non Billable, and Driving Cost. All work attributes are displayed in the worklog dialog. To add Work Attributes:

  1. Select Tempo > Tempo settings or click the Gear icon on the Tempo Sidebar to the left.
  2. Under Configuration, click Work Attributes.
  3. Enter the name of the work attribute that you want to create.
  4. If the work attribute field is required, check the Required box.
  5. Select a Type from the dropdown menu. Available types include Checkbox, Input Field, Numeric Input Field, and Static List. You can also select Account as a Work Attribute type, which allows you to link worklogs directly to accounts. For more information about linking worklogs to accounts, see this article.
  6. Click Add to save.
