Required Tempo product: Tempo Timesheets for Cloud or Tempo Planner for Cloud
Required permission: JIRA Administrators or Team Tempo Administrators or Team Leads
If you are a JIRA Administrator, Team Tempo Administrator, or Team Lead, you should link projects to the teams that will be working on those projects.
Only the teams that are linked to those projects will be available to be selected in the Teams dropdown in that project's issues. In addition, if you have Tempo Planner for Cloud, issues from your linked projects will automatically populate the sidebar in your Planning board and Planning backlog.
To link a team to a project, complete the following instructions:
- On the main menu bar, select Tempo > Teams. You can also click on the Teams icon on the Tempo Sidebar to the left.
- Click on the name of the team you want to link to a project.
- Click on +Link.
- Type the name of the project you want to link and select it from the dropdown list.
The project and the team are now linked. To unlink a project from a team, click on the Unlink dropdown that appears in the top-right corner of each linked project.
